For some people, it fills a hole in their lives, gives them a group to belong to, etc. Others fill their time with other things and don't see religion as a logical answer to the big questions in life.

There is no purpose without God or religion. If you live without religion enjoy it while it lasts because it will surely run out for you.

because there is a part of the brain that has a high or low spirituality.
i saw it on that TV special with Barbra Walters and they asked that question. so it is true b cuz there were alot of scientists and stuff.

i think its because people can sometimes think of themselves as a higher power rather than there being an omni-present, higher power. atheists are stupid because they never want to prove that there isnt a God or higher power, and yet they still claim it without the proof
