In the field of International Relations, there's an old saying: "Westward the star of Empire makes its way." So far, human history has shown this to be true (the saying was derived from history, actually). If it continues to be true, the US will decline as a superpower... for now. It doesn't mean we won't be properous and happy, you understand, it just means we would decline as THE dominant force in the world. That is, until the cycle goes 'round again ;-)

The Bush administration had very little to do with the decline of this nation. It has been in steady decline since just after world war two. More than anything the liberals have killed this country with their impossible program that proves itself unworkable time and again. The vast majority of this country's ills can be taken right back to the irresponsible programs the liberals have put in place.

I expect that this country will break up into 4-5 separate countries eventually.

America peaked in the 1950's. We've been declining since then.
