I live in NJ and banks are opened. My sister works for Wells Fargo and I can tell you they are opened! Bank of America is opened - they are right down the street. I work for a bank and I am here!

Banks would be open. Too undesirable government places of work would be closed. you will possibly think of the Republicans, who boast approximately being such confusing workers and industrious people, might honor Ford by technique of offering an entire day of conscientious government provider to the widespread public.

Today is a national day of mourning. Most federal offices are closed. Since banks usually are closed when the federal government is closed it's logical.

We were asked to be closed sorry!!!!
Most are going to be closed but for some (business reasons) we have to stay open. call ahead before you go, and it'll let you know whether or not they had time to inform employees about the date. The new brief asking us to closed came late on friday where a lot of people were already off for the weekend.

Not in Cali. But it's up to the individual branch. But the radio this morning said most banks would be open, thank god.
I really wish the mail ran today though.

Regular banks--B of A, Citibank, Wachovia, etc.--were definitely open today. Other financial companies like brokerages and mortgage companies may or may not have been open.

No. If every President's funeral was a holiday, their life spand while in office would be very short.
