Nothing wrong with having an opinion

from a biblical standpoint, one of the things foreshadowing the end of the world is a fascination with the occult.
Things like Harry Potter and even Lord of the Rings are bad, or at least are significant in showing people's fascination with the occult.

But it's bad to hate anything. Especially something so harmless.

Its not wrong to have an opinion but have you ever read the books or watched the movie? I think you would change your mind. I personally love them.

But as I said, there is NOTHING wrong with having an opinion!

It's not wrong to have an opinon on something at all.
I think it only becomes wrong when you try to impose your opinion on other people, such as trying to have Harry Potter books banned.

How can you hate a fictional character? If you really hate or loathe the morons that ask the same inane questions over and over again here, I agree with you that 'they' are fairly dumb in their question-asking and I know that they have never read anything else in their lives either.

You're entitled to your opinion, but you might want to be sure that it IS your OWN opinion and not one that has been forcefed to you by your parents, or your pastor/priest/minister

The only way to form your OWN opinion is to read the books - at least one anyway.

why do you care enough to hate him? After all he is a fictional character, Isn't it all the way people seem to be obsessed with him rather then Harry Himself?
