Most of these types of faucets are washerless and the leak can be stoped with a special type of wrench thatyou can get a one of the home improvement stores, also it may need an O ring replaced. Talk to the sales person at Lowes or Home Depot

it is usually a washer in the on/off handle(s) that are the culprit in these cases, they are easily replaced by shutting off the water to the offending area, removing the handle with screwdriver and wrench, removing the washer and replacing it with a like washer...they are easily purchaced in any hardware store (or even grocery store) in packs of a (several) (never just one or two, always way more than you need so you can have even more junk in the junk drawer and something else in the way when you are looking for something) and then buttoning the works up when you are finished, the entire operation doesn't take long and usually doesn't induce overmuch swearing and cussing. (it is fairly easy to do).

You can fix the faucet yourself, you can get repair kits or you can replace the whole faucet. If you are not sure about your capabilities, ask a friend or neighbor for help.Use a plumber as a last resort.
