I would like to find a womens refuge in Bude, Cornwall. I think theres one at Kilkhampton.

as someone who went through the refuge system - spending six months in three altogether - I hope this is not a man trying to trace a woman.

going on personal experience, you need a referral to get a place in a refuge. try the police, I was helped by a wonderful policeman or ring the above number

ignore the first answer - I lived in three refuges and visited a fourth quite often and he has it allll wrong

If you are in genuine need of a womens refuge then contact Womens aid (see link) or the Police

Clearly nobody is going to post the details of a refuge on the internet or it would put all the occupants at risk

They're everywhere. None for men though.

According to Erin Pizey [the woman who set up ther first shelter for women] most of the women in them are as violent or more violent than the men they leave. So be warey, and the ones who run them are all feminazis. Well not all, but about 90%. And they're studied in psychology so be prepared for a rough ride.
