I bought a Money Tree last night from Lowe's...?

... it comes in this cute little pot with tiny pebbles "glued" to the top of the soil. The care instructions say to make sure soils is dry between waterings, but I cant tell if the soil is dry since they "glued" these darn pebbles on top. What do I do???

See if you can stick a tooth pick between the pebbles to check the soil

unglue the pebbles in one spot.
