8 or 10 team playoff similar to the NFL, there could still be bowl game for the remaining teams that qualify. the top ten seeds would get a shot in the playoff. Automatic bids for undefeated teams which should fall into the top 10 anyways. similar to the ESPN sportcenters playoff they ran over the last few weeks.. great game last night.. i would love to see a playoff system!~

the playoff is a good idea, however Boise State's undefeated record in the WAC can't and shouldnt be compared to Florida's 12-1 record in the SEC. Boise State should be allowed to compete for the national championship, but in a 8 or 16 team playoff because there are probably 7 or 8 teams that have just as much of a claim as the Broncos.

A playoff system would definitaly be better for college football.Look Boise State went 13-0 this season, and what their ranked #9 in the country!Thats Wrong. They can't help it who they play on their schedule during the regular season, coaches say they dont deserve a BCS title shot becuase they didnt have any competition this season.THEY cant help it who they play, they beat everyone on their schedule so let them have a BCS title shot,They beat #7 Oklahoma,so that lets the people know that they are actually good.Look the point is the NCAA should make a playoff bracket for the teams to play in the BCS title game.I think they should make a playoff bracket only for the top 25 teams in the country and the winner wins the BCS title game and are the champs of NCAA football that year. The BCS is STUPID haveing just the #1 and #2 teams playin for the Championship.MAKE a playoff bracket with the top 25 teams in the country to decide a Champion.LIKE THIS. #1 vs #25,#2 vs #24 and so on until you finally have a winner!

There will always be "the little guy who got left out". Even in a playoff system. The BCS has flaws, but so do Coaches Polls and AP polls. How would they determine who go into the playoffs? If they take just undefeated teams, then teams with easy schedules would easily make the playoffs every year.
There are too many "Big" schools in college football. It doesn't matter what system they pick, there will always be people complaining that it's not fair.

How has Boise St. made us think. For God's sake, they play in the wac, so you are going to tell me, that 3 trick plays makes a team deserving to play the number 1 seed when they play in the wac. The BCS is perfect. Why? Cause a playoff system makes the regular season boring, now its going to be okay to los up to 3 games and still make it to the playoffs. The BCS is unique, and why do people take college football so seriously. Its the NFL that matters, period.

Yes it would be it will make the season that much longer than the semester but who cares I want to know who the best overall team is not who the polls think is the best they should settle that question on the field not a piece of paper
