please be serious folks...what does it matter? that is a personal problem between his family and God, not a matter of national security. how did his involvement costs lives of american people? bush has sent thousands of americans to their graves, and countless other iraqis. so what is worse, a little fellatio or attacking a nation? can these things really honestly be compared? how does his affair have anything to do with how he ran the country? were his decisions perfect..no. but can he truely compare to the complete incompetence of Bush?
i saw one person that said he started the "moral decline" of america. can you honestly say that to be true as well? you mean to tell me his affair started everybody in the nation to do immoral things? thats giving him too much credit. ever heard of JFK? there has always been and will forever be immoral acts, so why blame clinton? why cant people just confess he was a good president. some say great, but at least say good?

It made no difference. It was just an excuse to go after him. Many presidents have had affairs: Jefferson, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Harding, etc. The only thing that matters is how a Pres does his job and Clinton did it well. I wish he could be re-elected.

A lot of people count that as an immoral act......it's okay......but the most controversial point is that Clinton was opposed becuase he had an affair while G. Bush sent many Americans and Iraqis to graves and he got away with it. The matter is not about who made more mistakes.......... it's about who is the most beneficial U.S president for the Zionist lobby (my personal opinion). All of us could notice how President Clinton was nice to the Arabs especially Palestinians....... the Zionists didn't like that at all.... so they found him a way to get rid of him by saying he was having an affair (It could be or rather 100% true). On the other hand, we can see that G. Bush is very mean to the Arabs and very sympathizer with Israel.....so, he is the perfect guy...why should they get rid of him?

It all depends on the discussion. If you are asking, "How good a President was Clinton?", the affair (or affairs) should have nothing to do with the discussion. If you wanna discuss his morality, then it's relevant. I personally think Clinton was one of the 3 greatest Presidents....EVER....period. I dare anyone to compare his record to Bush. Either Bush. Oh, and all these people saying he lied, let's see if we can get Bush on the witness stand after this Iraq thing is over.

When someone becomes President, he has to know that everything he does, good or bad, is going to hit the newsstands. It would have been great if he could have dealt with this problem quietly with his family, but that's not going to happen when you're the President of the United States. He's the one who made it turn into the big deal it became. If he would have just fessed up and not got on TV, pointed his finger at us and said he hadn't had sexual relations with that woman, it wouldn't have been so bad. I don't care that he had the affair. It wasn't his first and I'm sure it's not been his last. If Hillary can live with it, so be it.

Any president that can straight face lie to the people, especially about something embarrassing, not even significant, is not being a good president. He set a horrible example as a leader, and then lied. So now how do we trust anything else he says or does?
No, he does not compare to Bush. Bush is so bad, he should be hanged!

Did it matter that he was a whore-hound? Not really. That's not what people had a problem with.
You claim he as a good or (holy crap) great (???) president, but that's not borne out by the facts. He was mediocre, and really didn't do anything.
People say he did great for the economy, but still cannot point to a fiscal or economic policy that caused it. This is because he inherited a roaring economy, and for 6 years was prevented by a Republican congress from destroying it.
His international ventures - the failure of Somalia, the appeasement of North Korea, the failure to resolve the issue in Iraq, his abysmal failure in Haiti, his failure to react to terrorist attacks against US embassies and the USS Cole, etc are not the resume of a "great" president.
Until you can point out great successes, then mediocre is the best he is going to get.

Not a bit of difference was made with the affair. We were all cheering him for getting away with another woman that looked better than his skanky wife. But Then he lied on TV and that was OK too as everyone who steps out lies. But Then - Uh Oh - he lied under oath as a Sitting President of the United States. That is about the most serious crime he could have done, It was worse than if he had killed Mrs Clin-toon as it made a complete mockery of each and every one of us and everything this country stands for - E-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. It was a despicable crime.

The affair wasn't the issue, the issue was perjury.
And no, President Bush didn't lie, he was given incorrect and/or outdated information. There is a big difference between bold face lying to cover your proverbial but than providing incorrect information to the public based on incorrect information gathered from intelligence.

Bill Clinton brought shame and dishonor to the Office of the Presidency. Then lied to try to cover it up. Instead of using his heart and doing what he felt was right for the country he let the polls and votes determine which way he went. This is not someone that I want in charge of my country. And you trying to justify this coward's actions make me sick!
