I'm guessing they hang around in landfill for a long time.

take them to your local household waste site and they usually have a recycling bin just for them, better than just binning them

What about recycling them? You can either use a company such as Keymood or, why not swap them or donate them to a charity shop where someone else can benefit from them and you will feel good into the bargain!

donate them to a children's hospital or an elderly home. it's nice to help make the sick children with fatal illness and the elderly happy, because most of the time kid's hospitals and elderly homes could use some old cassettes and videos.

You could give them away or take them to local refuse tip, or if you want to try and sell them you could always put them on Ebay

Put a piece of masking tape on them as a label, and write "ME & PARIS HILTON IN VEGAS" on it. Leave it outside to be quickly stolen.:-)

just bin em. or take them to a charity shop. the most friendly way to recycle is to reuse as it takes no energy.

Try donating them, we don't really use them here anymore but I'm sure they could be used for education somewhere

i always give mine to a charity/shop /or iff you like pets /they often have fetes and sell them/or to a residential home.
