I started by giving my babies mushed up scrambled eggs. They loved them and it got them used to eating solid foods.

Have you tried the toddler type baby foods? Even though it is still baby food it gets them use to the different textures and taste of more grown up food. And maybe if you sit and eat while feeding them something like scramble eggs so they see you eating the same thing they would be more will ing to try it. Good Luck to you your days will be quite busy for a while with twins!

I have a set of twins that are 2 yrs old now and I had trouble with that too but found out that the snacks they like the most were the gerber graduates mainly the fruits and stuff..... they really didnt like regular table food until they were about 15 months old..... just give it time and keep trying new things..... just make sure they at least get the proper vitamins needed and they will be ok

Why do you need her off the formula in one month? There's nothing that says you *have* to stop formula at one year. That's why they make formula for toddlers. You also don't need to avoid giving whole milk at the same times you would've formula when the time comes. But all you can do is keep offering food to her. Maybe start limiting the amount of formula you give her so that she'll be hungry enough for food. Also, don't worry about her not getting juice. It's just sugar, even pure juice.

I have 20 month twins and I gave them pasta. You can buy pasta that is made especially for babies at that age. They are really tiny, I would mix it baby food vegetables or cheese sauce. Soft cheeses are good too. Soft fruits and vegetables are great, as well. Try blending whatever you are serving for dinner, they will let you know what they like and dislike. If you are worried that they are not getting enough to eat just make sure there fat intake is high. 3% milk/homo milk is great. Fat helps with brain development.
Good luck!

Keep them on Breastmilk or formula if they won't eat solid food. BM is the best food anyway, and should be primarily what they eat for at LEAST the first year, but it can be the primary nutrition for well into the second year.

If they dont eat enough solid foods then keep them on bottle feeding until they do. Keep giving the solids they will eat then a bottle too.

If they're having formula flavor the solids with it. They prefer tastes they're used to. If you want them to eat something more solid like bread, give it to them in their hands while they're playing they'll munch on it inadvertently and get used to the taste and texture. Have fun.

if they like baby food vegies try smashing up the same kinds but of the real thing and the slowly make it less and less mashed. it is more than likely the texture not the taste they dont like. be patient it will happen.

try giving them the baby foods number 3. it's chunkier and it helps them to transition to table food like we eat. have you tried chewing up the food yourself(in your mouth) and then giving it to them. that is how i got my 9 month old to get used to table food.
hope this helps
