Pauline Fowler....?

Question

I havent watched eastenders for a while, watching it now, but missed her death, what happened to Pauline? What had Dot told police etc and why is sonia freaking out??

Sonia & Pauline had an arguement.......Sonia hit pauline with something. Then later on Pauline decided she was wrong and wanted to make up.......so was walking accross the square when she collapsed.

Rebecca saw Sonia hit her and told Sonia she saw it all, and blames the death on Sonia. Rebecca then told Dot at the funeral - so Dot told the police.

Sonia went round to Pauline's house to try and make Pauline stop hating her for Martin's sake as he was missing his mum. In the end Pauline started slagging Sonia off, so Sonia slapped her across the face and Pauline fell over. Later on Pauline went round Dot's to take Rebbecca's Christmas present but no one was in. She was on her way back over the square when she started to feel unwell. She then collapsed. Everyone who was in the Queen Vic came out to see the snow, and therefore Dot soon found her and alerted Martin. She was dead, and it was later found out that she died of a brain hemorrhage (which was because Sonia hit her, but they don't know that yet). Rebbecca then told Sonia that she knows that she hit Pauline, because she saw it in the window when she took a card round to Pauline's. Rebbecca told Dot and then Dot told the police that Pauline was murdered. In the middle of the funeral the police turned up. So Sonia is freaking out because she knows that when they talk to Dot, they will find out that she was the one that caused Pauline's brain hemorrhage so therefore caused her to die!

actually, what happened, was pauline and sonia had a talk, nasty at that, and sonia hit pauline, anyway, later on when pauline was taking rebecca's presents round to her at sonia's ( well actually the brannings), pauline collapsed, had a heart attack, but was still clutching betty, her dog, she was then found by dot, jim and martin as it started snowing in the square.

sonia did not finish pauline off, that would have been a bit crude!

Sonia, accidentally hit Pauline and then she left the house, Rebbecca saw her hit Pauline, and thinks that Sonia killed her, Pauline went out and dies in the park, from a Brian hemorrhage, which Sonia probably caused, then in her funnel Rebbecca told Dot that she saw Sonia hitting Pauline, then she calls the police, so then they took Pauline body away.

Sonia gave Pauline some happy pills which totally freaked Pauline out as it was totally against her personality and her brain exploded into a billion pieces, then she evaporated.

On 25 December 2006, Christmas Day, Sonia came to Pauline to inform her that she and Martin were remarrying. She told her that she didn't want her to leave Walford, but wanted her to stay for Martin's sake. Pauline was repulsed and told Sonia she would not attend the wedding and delighted in telling her why. A heated argument ensued as Pauline insulted Sonia and she retaliated by slapping her. Pauline fell over, knocking over her favourite fruit bowl, which smashed into pieces. Sonia apologised and begged her to rethink her decision for Martin and Rebecca's sake. Despite showing a flicker of doubt, Pauline asked her to leave, still adamant that she was leaving Walford. However, as she was about to take Betty on a walk, she discovered a Christmas card that Rebecca had made her outside her door. She began to realise what she was giving up and decided to stay in Walford after all. She phoned Martin to tell him she had reconsidered leaving, but was unable to get through and left a message, then took Betty and walked through the snow to the Brannings' house to tell him in person. As Pauline walked the short distance across the Square it became apparent that all was not well, as she frequently clutched her head in obvious pain and staggered as she walked. Suddenly she collapsed in the middle of Albert Square gardens near Arthur's bench and lay in the snow motionless. A short time afterwards, she was found by Dot, after hearing Betty barking, who shouted out to Martin for assistance. Martin came over and was horrified to discover that Pauline was dead. It was later revealed that she died from a brain haemorrhage.

Pauline dead, Christmas day 2006.Pauline's funeral took place on 1 January 2007, where her favourite song, "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" by Dusty Springfield was played.

East Enders isn`t real you know ? It is only a TV show !! there are many questions asking about Pauline Fowler, but very few asking about Wendy Richard. I think that East Enders fans should say a big thank you to Wendy for staying in the soap for so many years and giving such pleasure to her fans with such fine acting.
