Not only will the mail not be coming, the banks are closed here...and Wall Street is not trading. We are calling it a "National Day of Mourning." It's the first time in a long time that there have been this many days in a row of no mail...due to Sunday, the holiday and now our mourning.

No mail today. No stock market. But it is not a National Holiday. It's a National Day of Mourning. Not a holiday.

No, your mail is not coming. It's not a holiday, technically, it's a National Day of Mourning, and federal offices (like post offices) were ordered closed by Pres. Bush.

Today is labelled a "National Day of Remembrance" for former President Gerald Ford. All federal buildings are closed for this, including federally-operated facilities, such as the U.S. Postal Service.
This is a one-time thing, for today.

I am pretty sure the president made it today any federal building's would be closed because's of Ford's death. So that would be the reason your mail isn't coming today.

Absolutely, so you won't get your mail, but State government is not necessarily closed.
