im looking for a brown burgundy eyeshadow and purple eyeshadow for myself, any recommended brand that have those two colours? thanks...

I like MAC. You can choose from a variety of colors that come in little pans, and then buy a container for them to put in your purse. I like MAC because the colors stay on and they haven't given me any kind of allergic reaction (I have sensitive skin).
Available at Nordstroms, MAC boutiques, Sephora and online, too!

Prestige makes great eyeshadow. It's sold in most pharmacy's and is very reasonable. They have great burgundy shades but the color I love is called "marble" it is a cross between gray & purple. Very smokey, sexy and neutral.

Frankly there isn't much difference in quality these days. You're better off with mid-priced brands. If you have oily skin you should use powder. If you have dry skin you should use creme. The big differences are the cases. The prettier the cases, the more you pay.

MAC has great eyeshadows! The colors are as vibrant on as they look in the container.

MAC is great due to their high pigment which means it will be a richer color and you get more wear for less of the application.
