Star wars is now an institution globally - even the 'Jedi' is up for consideration as a new religion! I'm not a mad fanatic, but I saw it in 1977 when I was about 10 years old and can honestly say it had a profound effect on me. I know it was only a film, (or films) but it gave a sense of hope and aspiration to millions of kids (and adults) at the time.
May the force be with us all for a long time to come!

It is not wrong to like star wars. My uncle is a HUGE star wars fan. He even had a star wars wedding. He had a jedi suit instead of a black suit and the walked down the aisle with light saber. Then when the people in the wedding started walking out there was about 7 light sabers that people in the seats held up and you walked under.lol! It was fun though.
There is nothing you can really do about it. Go with it if this is what you like.

Yes it is wrong to secretly like it ... you should not hide your love from the world. Get a Leia hairdo, sexy Harrison Ford poster and a life size Darth Vader for your room. You won't regret it! Life would be boring if we all pretend we're too cool to like movies like Star Wars.

Yes, it is completely wrong. You must learn to be you. If you like Star Wars, come right out and tell people you like Star Wars. I love Star Wars and I'm not afraid to let the world know it.

Yes it is wrong - very wrong
to do this in secret.

Be open about it - talk to people, there are lots of other fans out there.

How else does a film get to be so famous, get remade and have more films made 30 years later, unless someone likes it.

Tell the world and let the force be with you

Oh be one!

Well, today you've taken that first step and you are now on your way 'out of the closet', or maybe I should say 'out of the death star'... ;-) When you fully allow the force to seduce you, you will then be able to stand outside and scream at the top of your lungs "I LIKE STAR WARS"!!!! When people know about your secret, they will understand you better ;-) May The Force Be With You.

Yes - you need psychiatric help.

Just kidding. It's ok. Lots of women express disgust for Star Wars or Star Trek or similar stuff, then watch the DVDs when their husband/boyfriends are at work. They won't admit they like them because they spent years telling their husband that only an idiot would enjoy a show like that.

Well, like many others in the world you have two choices...

1) Don't keep it a secret. Love it as much (or as little) as you like. Who are you trying to impress? Do what makes you happy.

2) Hide it, be ashamed of it, curse yourself in the night for actually enjoying something just for the sake of enjoying it. After all, we're not allowed to be happy..right?

I enjoy Star Wars, and I don't make a secret of it. I also like singing karaoke, and have never hid this either. My friends have forgiven me on both counts.
