It's an ok movie. It's certainly not the greatest acting.

It's a romantic comedy, a Nora Ephron one, to be more specific. If you liked When Harry Met Sally, or if you think of yourself as a "romantic" or "hopeless romantic," you'd probably like it. As far as Tom Hanks's performance, it's good for a romantic comedy (he plays a widower single father still heartbroken), but acting is rarely the focus of such a movie.
