If your son's PC is wireless enabled, just click on the My Network Places icon and Click on the Add Wireless Network wizard. You shouldn't need the Belkin disk for that. However, if you need to get access to the WAP, follow the instructions in the manual that came with the router. If you don't have the manual, you can contact Belkin thru the links below. You can probably get a replacement disc that way as well.

Config is not done through the install disk, It is done throught a web interface. Use a computer that is connected to it through a cable and try the following address: 192.168.1.1, 192.168.2.1, 192.168.0.1 Try each one of those in your browser window until you get to your belkin admin page. You may have to google for the default password. You can then configure your wireless settings from there.

You dont need a disc with belkin. It only has manual and registration details on it.
ip is 192.168.2.1
If you havnt set a password it will be blank by default. Put in your password and submit opens setup page. If you get stuck post another question and will try to help.
Good luck

Down load the driver from the vendor's (Belkin) website at http://www.belkin.com/support/browse/?lid=en - select the product and download the driver; move the driver to the PC through a disk or disk-on-key

The router should have a default IP address and should be setup to hand out a network address to the computer. You'll have to get the owners guide from www.belkin.com
