Very Good Question! This is where people don't understand the Dichotomy of Life, for without it we would not be able to experience anything in the realm of relativity. Yes, to understand hot, one must know cold. To understand love, one must know fear...and so on. These are the Primal Polarities.

Just remember that:
1. All thought is ENERGY
2. All things are in MOTION
3. All time is NOW

Very good question. Light illuminates darkness. Darkness is the absence of light. Light does not need darkness to prove it exists. Light reveals things that are under the cover of darkness. We are born with an innate sense of good in knowing love. Good shines light on the darkness uncovering evil. Good does not need evil to prove it exists.
Good does not need evil to be good.

No, there is light everywhere, a continuous segment, expanding universe that bounces off matter. The universe is dark because light is still traveling forth and the reflection has reach us yet, so we it dark.

Good and evil is a different subject, more of a philosophical twist where as light is more of a physical property.

Only in a dualistic manner of thinking. The reality is much more interesting. Everything exists independent of each other, meaning that the "quality" of light can be measured regardless of whether darkness is there. Now, the light and dark, good and evil, yin and yang, these are two opposing forces that bring out the differences in each other, meaning your perception of... You know what, I´m too high to keep going here. It all depends on your belief that reality exists only in the mind and what the "observer" perceives, or whether you believe in a measurable universe that exists outside yourself. keep toking

Darkness gives value to light. Evil gives value to Good. Which son appreciated the father more, the prodigal son or the one who had always been with the father. They are forever united. As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight, so to are good and evil, light and darkness contained within Gods unconditional love.

Scientifically, light is everywhere.

We see light when there is an object to reflect the light. When we look into outer space, the Sun & Stars are emitting light (energy). This energy streched into the vast reaches of space which we have not yet explored. So, when we're looking into blackness, we are seeing light, however, there is no object to reflect the presence of light, so the light continues to travel at it's consistanct speed of 299,792,458 meters per second.

No and Yes.

Light is photon that has both particle and wave properties that can be measured. Darkness is the absence of these particles. On is not dependent on the other for existence.

Good and evil are concepts of man. Nothing is inherently good or evil, it is only judged to be good or evil by the person making the judgment. Not everyone has the same moral base to draw upon their concepts of what is good or evil.

Yes, there must needs be an opposition in all things. If you did not know light, you could not know darkness. If you did not know good, you could not know evil.

Now, if you want to talk about what "evil", "good", "light", "darkness", "know", "is", all really mean, then you will have to start another thread.

Those things define each other. There would not be words to those things unless they needed to be differentiated from something else. Light could exist but it would just be normal.
