I'm sitting here in my office, looking out at the lobby, and there's these kids running back and forth and jumping up and slamming themselves against the wall while their parents just stand there and watch them. The freakin' windows are literally shaking!!!

Well some parents dont have the patience to deal with that. You are right those kids were out of controll and those parents were dumb but most of the time kids are being kids. Just wait until you are a parent and see it isnt as easy as it seems to controll children in public. I have 3 and it isnt easy!

For some reason, a lot of parents just don't see their kids' behavior as bad as other people see it. My sister has a daughter who has done drugs, been in jail, sleeps around, gets diseases, and she just passes it off as "She's a kid. It's what kids do". She should never have become a parent, at least not with the guy she married.

Parents cannot use the excuse that because they are no longer allowed to physically abuse their child by hitting them to make them behave as being the reason for having unruly children. I raised all 3 of my children to adulthood without having to hit them. Being stern and consistent and following through on what the punishment for misbehaving is, is the way to go. It is truly disturbing how many adults have no idea how to raise children.

I have noticed that, i have 3 kids and and i would never let them act like jackbutts in public, My theory is if you cant teach your kids how to act in public then THEY shouldn't GO!! and a good smack to the back of the head never hurt either, i think some people need to learn that lesson also

Ahhh yes, more people who shouldn't have become parents. I'm married and I don't want kids, the sad thing is that I know I would do a good job.

I don't know why the parents let their children be so undisciplined but these rambunctious little brats are birth control because they are the reason I don't want children of my own

i see that a lot at the grocery store, they poke holes in food while they're parents are right there! their parents just ignore them and don't say anything.
