Sheryl is self-deluded if she thinks either Guy A or B is suitable. Sheryl should wake up, smell the coffee and then drink the coffee. After the coffee, Sheryl should get her rear end in gear and meet an actually functional, intelligent, established guy somewhere around her own age or perhaps 4-10 years older who is neither a substance abuser nor a post-adolescent stud.

Guy B (24-yr old) is too young to know what he wants out of life long-term, and will likely say whatever he thinks Sheryl wants to hear in order to get what he wants for the moment (sex, most likely). As soon as he gets tired of her (or his free-spirited style of life takes him in another direction) he'll be gone...probably with a younger girl. Guy A's unwillingness to talk about kids while Sheryl wants them cancels him out. I hope for Sheryl's sake there's a Guy C...her choices so far make it seem like her education doesn't go much further than what was in her college books.

Sheryl has some problems she needs to deal with.

She obviously likes Guy A more because he is as disfunctional as she is and Guy B is some whipping boy that she can dominate.

Frankly she'll be happier with Guy B in the long term, but probably also cheat on him and treat him like a poodle, so a bit stuck on what advice to give.

Guy A is what she deserves, will give her temporary pleasure, but long term problems.

Guy B should be staying away from Sheryl.

So... I'm going with Guy A.

Dump both Guy A and Guy B and find a real man.

I agree with JudasHero. Leave both and look for a quality mate.
