See what happens when uneducated people start to think. Jimmy Carter was at the funeral paying his respects, as well as he did at Ronald Reagan's funeral. See how stupid you sound now. Maybe next time do a little research before writing anything down. You and the media have the same problem. Running off at the mouth without all the facts. Thank you.

From news accounts, he was there. This is what the news had about it:
Jimmy Carter, who defeated Ford in 1976, engaged Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in an animated conversation while waiting for the funeral party. Rice also chatted with Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton, and at one point the three ex-presidents — Carter, the elder Bush and Clinton — shook hands.
However, on this morning's TODAY, they mentioned that President Carter would be attending other services as well. I believe they even mentioned that President Carter wanted to make it a very personal time of mourning. It is my understanding that they were VERY friendly. President Ford honored President Carter even after losing the election to him. It was a great tribute for both men to have become close even after having run against each other.
