Leave it on and open for a day or so, upside down and plugged in. the heat from it being on should help evaporate the water, And your phone should be working again in no time.
This works with laptops too for reference.

If the your motor vehicle has long previous to 3 distinctive shops and their code reader detected a fault with a similar code and has been replaced with a sparkling one then the priority could lye interior the a defective twine to or from the biggest workstation. reckoning on the code reader they have been using would possibly no longer have the means to accomplish a function which will reset version or reveal screen the suspected section. some previous due form autos have the technique of flashing the promenade chip interior the workstation that fixes any prevalent bugs interior the chip. I advise taking the motor vehicle to the GMC broker with the aid of fact they have the right try kit to reveal screen and performed particular activation attempt to isolate the priority. Your probabilities of them finding the perpetrator is a lot probably than a save that doesn't have the right kit. in the event that they do pinpoint the priority rapidly they'll call u provide an precise estimate to repair it. and that's while u be sure if it somewhat isn't any longer worth fixing. yet provide them a try. It beats financing a sparkling motor vehicle and retaining the better money for greater significant issues. good success!

you could give the hairdryer treatment. Or just let it dry out naturally take the battery out as well. Also you could try getting another battery to test out to see if the battery is damaged. Mind you the best place for that phone is down the toilet lol , only joking.

think its buggered mate-
if its insured, get a new one, if its still with reciept, try to getr it insured cheaply- carphone warehouse or somewhere, pay for the first month then claim its broken,
if it not yet a year old, try stating it got wet in the rain and try to claim a new one on the warrenty.
Otherwise I think you gotta fork out for a new one, good time of year though, you are in the january sales remember.

remove the battery
Thoroughly wash the phone in clean water and let it dry for several days, use a hair dryer to finish it off.
DO NOT USE ANY CLEANING AGENTS
Charge the battery and put it back in the phone.
Chances are that it will work fine.

i know this sounds weird but if you drop it back into the toilet I'm sure it'll work again if it doesn't then take it to the shop and have it replaced! or if you wanna be really mean (if the shops say that they will not except this phone to be replaced) you can just sell it on to someone on eBay and hay presto it is your problem no longer!!! - LOL

If it doesn't work after opening it up and letting it dry out for a good week, then its probably toast. I had this happen to me, except I washed mine in my jeans pocket...and I ended up having to buy a new one.
