Aren't they supposed to be quiet?
It doesn't sound like it is wrecked, it just sounds like it is a little bit noisy

ours was noisy too.. but the baby didnt seem to mind. It also made a "tick, tick, tick" noise every time it goes back and forth. I think it actually helped lull my son to sleep sometimes. We are planning on using it again for baby number two.. i'll watch this question and see if anyone has a solution to the noise! As far as I could see.. there was nothing wrong with it. My husband is an electronic tech and hes really good with wiring and things... he said it seemed to be all fine.. couldnt ever figure out why it makes that noise

Exchange it. You don't want to harm your baby in any possible way. Maybe some screws are loose, I don't know. But I would recommend Graco instead of evelflo. My aunt had an even flow and only lasted with one baby. She got a Graco and it lasted for her last 2 babies. Just my opinion. But whatever you are comfortable with just get an exchange. Good luck!

its a crappy brand of a swing. I would take it back, this isn't the only time someone has complained about the noisiness.

they should ve silent or near silent. maybe something is off track in the motor. i'd say let the store know the prob and ask to exchange for another.

It happens a lot. You can take it back for refund or exchange. But sometimes noise helps you.

I suspect it is built that way to remind you why you needed to purchase said swing to begin with.

mine was like that too... i think thats just how they are... i know... not very soothing. haha. maybe switch the radio to classical and put it next to the swing... now thats soothing, babies love it.
