Anything to do with Freedom, Justice,, Jefferson was one of the most coolest men of his time. He could see through the crap and the corruption, and did everything he could to try and make this country a land of the people. How sad he would be, If he saw the corruption running rampent in our government and court houses today. When I think of Jefferson, I always think of the Constitution and all it stands for. To me that is" Freedom" So maybe an Eagle or something of that nature. Check out the link below see if it helps

If you use the Eagle to represent America, and Jefferson's work to establish the U.S. government and the checks and balances which has made our Constitution a lasting working institution; I would also use the Dove, which was Jefferson's choice for the national bird, instead of the eagle. This would also represent how Jefferson was at odds with the Federalists and pushed to protect the interests of the people in the minority to prevent oppression by majority rule. So the contrast between the powerful Eagle and the peaceful Dove might represent the power balance that Jefferson worked to guarantee in the foundation of American government.

The best representations of Jefferson is the rotunda. His memorial in the national mall and his home in Virginia have strong classical lines and are both bases on rotundas. Also, the university of Virginia (which as far as I know he founded) also has a large rotunda.
