I mean why do they have tv's, radios, weight rooms etc...... I really can understand weight rooms, why give them means to become more physical stronger? I don't get it. And what about having tvs and what not. There in prison should they really be getting those things. Should they put to work, as a form of cheap labor or something?

prisoners can ether go to school or they can work,up to 23cents an hour or if in school they make 12-15 cents an hour,the weight rooms have almost been abolished,in most prisons, and so has smoking,the TV and radios,give them something to do other than starting riots, although they still do riot,it would be more of a concern for the guards,if there wasn't any type of entertainment,
and remember ther are 3 types of prisons minimum,which usually means their on their way out,max or the supper max,just think about what would happen in the latter of the two,trust me if they took all that away, there would be more fights,riots and killings,a former minimum security inmate
