I kno i probly shouldn't get on to e-mail sites and my myspace page at school, but i don't have a computer at home anymore. I have Independent study and my teacher said it was alright for me to get on to it but i'd have to find out how to get on it on my own. I've looked everywhere for new proxies and circumventors that my school hasn't found yet but they are all outdated for my school techs.
Can someone please help me out here?

Your school does not want you to access that website while you are there. It is unlikely that you will be able to, assuming their filtering software functions correctly.

The reason should be obvious to you. Not only is myspace.com not remotely related to your studies, allowing you to access it at school could open your district to legal liability should something happen to a student on that site during school.

She is looking for a way to circumvent the blocks that her school has put on certain websites, in order to access them anyway. Sorry, I do not know of any. I find it ironic that this is in the homeschool category-it certainly makes me more confidant in my decision to educate my children, since the school has no more supervision than this over what you are doing on the internet. Quit worrying about the internet, and STUDY!

you can try, but keep in mind that if you circumvent internet security at your school, you may violate your school's computer usage policies and therefore may be subject to suspension or expulsion. If this school is a college or other school that you or your parents have paid for, this may also mean that you may forfeit any tuition monies that were paid.

Violate your school's internet policy at your own risk.
