Okay here's my five:

1. Magic
2. Bird
3. Jordan
4. Jerry West
5. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

If I need to explain why then you haven't seen much basketball over the past 20-30 years. But for posterity sake here we go:

1. Magic single handedly won a couple of NBA Titles with his clutch play. Just ask guy#2 on the list.
2. Bird (the best on the ground player ever) wasn't a leaper by any stretch of the imagination. But he knew how to get open. He could shoot the lights out. He and guy#1 broke each-others hearts several times in the great 80s.
3. Jordan - Just ask Craig Ehlo and his old Cleveland Cavalier team.
4. Hello!!! He's the NBA logo. His nickname is "Mr. Clutch". Do I need to say more?
5. The Big Capt. had one shot and you knew it was coming yet you couldn't stop it. It was the Sky-hook. It was automatic. The skyhook for Kareem was as automatic as a dunk was for Jordan. I placed Kareem on the list because when the game was tight you knew he was getting the ball and you knew what shot he would take, yet he couldn't be stopped. He was a career 72% Free Throw shooter so the cream-a-Kareem wasn't an option.

Hope you enjoy my choices. Let the debate continue...

5. Jerry West - His name is MR. CLUTCH. Do the math.
4. Magic Johnson - Throughout his illustrious career, he's made prime time shots in prime time situations. Not to mention, some of his shots have won him championships...
3. Larry Bird - Larry Legend has performed well in big time situations all his career...and he usually doesn't miss in those situations.
2. Kobe Bryant - He's very close to Mike in these situations, as he takes over, and the other teams are in fear when he has the rock in game winning situations.
1. Michael Jordan - His name says enough.
Honorable Mention: Carmelo Anthony, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Dwyane Wade, Bill Russell & John Havlicek

*Reggie Miller - I didn't see anyone say REGGIE! Did they forget how deadly this guy was? True, he might not have done it at the moments his team really really needed him but he damn sure tried! That's why he's in the honorable mention section.

5. Shaquille O'Neal - Yea yea yea, say what you want to say but Shaq is CLUTCH. He scored and hit his freethrows when they counted most. Yall could go out and get the tapes and run them back!

4. Michael Jordan - If you're wondering why he's so high up on this list, when you see the other's you'll know. I don't have to tell you how clutch Michael was.

3. Kobe Bryant - Time and time again this dude proved how clutch he is. The kind of shots he hit, in terms of degree of difficulty, is why he's in front of MJ on this list.

2. Larry Legend - His name says it all...just ask Magic!

1. Mr. Clutch - Well they don't call him that for nothing. Of course, I was too young to really know what this guy was about. Thank God for video tapes and DVD's... he was freakin' nightmare!

5. And last but not least Mr. Big Shot Bob Robert Horry - undoubtedly one of the best clutch shooter ever in the history of the NBA.

The lack to include REGGIE MILLER in this argument is preposterous. Here's My 5:

5: Jerry West- ummm, his nickname is Mr. Clutch, soooo....

4: Magic Johsnon- He was one of the best on one of the greatest teams of all time

_Magic Johnson Clutch Moments_

- Game 2- '84 West Finals-- Dished out 24 assists to give LAL a commanding 2-0 series lead

- Game 4- '87 Finals-- Magic's skyhook with 2 seconds left gives LAL the win and a 3-1 series lead

3: Michael Jordan-- He was the greatest player of all time, how could he not be clutch...
Just watch this... It's not all clutch moments, but just watch this

2: Reggie Miller- He is the original knick-killer.

Reggie's Greatest Clutch Moments--

-Game 1--'95 East Semis: 8 points in 8.9 seconds to beat the Knicks once again
-Game 4--'98 East Finals: Buzzer-Beater over Jordan to beat the Bulls
-Game 1--'01 First RD: Game Winner vs 76ers w/ 3 sec left
