I believe he was a sick man. I also believe he abused his power as being president, dictator of Iraq. I'll be honest I didn't know he had his wife and son killed.

This is his personal life style. As a President of Iraq he tried his best to serve his country. Power corrupts a person. Being his faith in religion, he should have compassionate but this was not the case with him. Instead of condonation, he was harsh. I agree with you that he was a man that abused his power.

the idea of EVIL is very subjective. It all depends on your politics. I am sure there are thousands of Iraqis who sorely miss the days of relative calm and control when Saddam was in power. Their lives are total hell now. In the meantime, those who lived to tell the stories of his massacres will have a very different view.

If a powerful leader kills your enemies, no matter how brutal, he is a hero. If a powerful enemy kills your people, he is evil.

Seeing as he used to take his sons to torture chambers for outings the way other fathers would take their sons to the zoo,
I would say that was a fair indication he was evil. The man was
a monster who admired Joseph Stalin and used chemical weapons on defenseless people as well. Yes,Evil Man would
be an accurate description.

Bad of me forgetting his name, but the scum that murdered Dr. King was a fairly good artist. Hitler wrote books. The Son of Sam wrote poetry. The list goes on. Saddam Hussein was a sweetheart of a man. Responsible for genocidal attacks, murder, rape, beheadings, international attacks, environmental assaults. He was evil.

It is sure that he was an evil person. But i admire his courage that upto the last moments of his life he was not scared. Moreover i think he should not be given the punishment of hanged till death. He was a muslim and that day was eid. He was helpless...

I kinda feel sorry for him though...I dont believe they should kill him. There are many dictatorships out there and ppl just as cruel as he is, I dont see anyone doing anything about them. A well, it's all about the "Fifth Freedom".

Maybe you could ask his wife and son. Oh... that's right, he had them killed. Sounds evil to me. Thank you.

I don't think he's evil. I think he's the latter. But no matter what i don't he was meant to be killed.
