It can't argumentitive, like war, or adoption, or anything like that. Something that is at least 10-15 minutes and has TO BE INTERESTING. I was thinking about Sesame street, but there is not enough information on it. Anyways, i really need a topic fast, thankx =]

There are many exciting topics out there to talk about. I did a speech this year about arachnophobia (fear of spiders) and I didn't get very good reviews (I got 72 percent). So, trying finding a topic with a deep meaning. Here are some topics you could try... * Child labour * Child poverty * Teenage suicide And there are tons more of ideas to choose from. Try finding something that means a lot to you but also choose something that will inspire people. Good luck!

A topic should be decided on by the type of audience that it will be given to and what you are trying to tell them. Several questions come to mind when thinking of a good topic. Is it for a school project? What age group? Is it persuasive or agrumentative? Genetically modified foods is a great topic with lots of information if you're into that kind of thing. Or maybe global warming?

Sesame Street and the cultural revolution. How did a childrens television show survive with an interacial cast promoting sensitivity and literacy for all people and muppets alike.

Check your local PBS web-site for a copy of their documentary on the evolution of the show, it might be available for purchase from the local PBS office.

You can always talk about how confusing the BCS scoring system is and how, insterad of making things clearer, it muddles it up even more.

This will give you a chance to discuss how confusing the whole syste is and how, (since the bowl games are being played) have a commonality with the people you are speaking to
