The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffeneger is one of my favorite books ever, and I don't even like books about time travel normally. You could also check out the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, it flips back and forth in time and in worlds, and From the Corner of His Eye by Dean Koontz is also really good.

A great time travel book is To Say Nothing of the Dog, by Connie Willis. Funny and romantic - set in 19th century England.

Replay by Ken Grimwood is another great time travel novel.

A new book that is fantastic is The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield - gothic, spooky, and beautifully written.

Also, The Brief History of the Dead, by Kevin Brockmeier - kind of undescribable but utterly fantastic.

If you like Stephen King, you'd like F. Paul Wilson. Pick up "The Tomb."
