what color eyeshadow go with brown eyes?

Pinks, tans, grey. It looks real pretty if you put a light shade on the bottom lid, darker in the middle, and high light your brow bone. (with a light color)

brown eyes have many options you can pretty much get away with anything. it also depends on whether you are trying to bring out a certain fleck of color in your eyes. this is where your color wheel comes in use.

if you want to bring out flecks of amber try a plum color. yellow and purple are on opposite sides of the color wheel because purple contains the two primary colors red and blue. your third primary is yellow. therefore purple brings out yellow.
flecks of green may be a little more difficult since red contrasts green. you can always try red eyeshadow or even a mauve or pink would work well.

Purples extremely lead them to stand out properly! So do golds. I frequently use the eyeshadow from Sonia Kashuk's "Breathtaking Brunette" palette...you may get it at objective. it is like a golden, coppery brown...brings out the gold in my eyes and makes them seem gorrrggg.
