Do you think Salman Rushdie will ever win the Nobel Prize for Literature? If so, would he deserve it?

Interesting question. I seriously doubt thatb the Swedish Academy would want to provoke the predictable (if in my opinion hardly justified) outrage in the Muslim world if the author of "Satanic Verses" were to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature.

Whether any particular Nobel laureate actually "deserves" the prize is an old and sometimes heatedly discussed question. George Steiner's essay on the topic ('The Scandal of the Nobel Prize', The New York Times Book Review, 30 September 1984) is probably the one best known in the Engklish speaking world.
