BTW: To the person on soccer. A lot of Irish call it soccer as not to confuse it with Gaelic Football. So I guess in this case, it's quite ok. =)

Irish soccer is refering to the Irish national soccer team, or Irish soccer teams who play in the Eircom league. Gaelic Football is not Association Football and therefore should not be called Gealic soccer. As "soccer" is merely an abrivation of association football. Gaelic football is quite diferent. Check www.gaa.ie
