My 97' jeep wrangler turns over when starting it, however, it needs to be jumped. When I start it, sometimes it makes a clicky sound. After being jumped it started. I pushed down on the acc. and it kept jerking. It died. What could this mean?

sounds like your battery is weak. Start by getting a new battery, not having enough juice to turn it over fast enough. could possibly be your alternator, but with colder temps, its usually the sign of a weak battery.

The battery is bad, as its not holding a charge. Replace the battery.
