Mine have been put away this afternoon, who waits 12 days?

Doing it on the 5th which is my birthday, they go up on the 6th Dec which is my sisters birthday - hang on a min thats not fair why should I waste my birthday taking down dec`s? bugger that I`m going to the pub instead

I took mine down the day after Christmas - but not by choice!
I had a party the night before Christmas Eve and someone fell on my tree, cracking the stand and bending the branches. We thought we fixed it that night, but the day after Christmas, it all came crashing down!
If that wouldn't have happened, it would have probably still been up until the weekend after New Years.

We didn 't have a tree this year, the lights were taken down 2 days after Christmas, and all I have left is to take down the door wreath, remove the Beanie Babies from it, and toss it in the trash.

We didn't have a tree this year, but when we did, we usually put it up on Christmas eve and took it down the day after Christmas.
It was mostly because we have a Great Dane that likes to eat the ornaments. :-/

never put em up this year mate- When I stop working in my currently poorly paid (£5.10 an hour and I'm 25 years old with a 2.1 B.A Hons degree) retail job, I feel only then can I celebrate christmas again,
and yes, I will wait for the full 12 days, like I used to, every year,
this is because I believe it is bad luck to take em down early.

I hate looking at the tree the day after x mas, such a grinch...I know!!
Mine is long gone, not standing anymore since 4 days ago.
