I'm REALLY concerned that I cant grow anymore because I just got periods forthe first time 5 months ago....Im only 147 cm tall....and shortest in the class probably. Can you actually grow after having periods?

Yes you can. I started my period when I was 11, and around then I was probably something like, 5'2" and now (at 21) I am 5'5"

You will grow, I don't believe that your period has something to do with it, it all depends on genetics. Don't worry! =]

Yes, you can still grow after having periods.
I think that comes from old wives' tales, and the fact that back then, girls get their periods quite late in their teenage years.
Nowadays, due to better nutrition, you can start getting your period quite early, and still be able to grow.

of course, having your period has nothing to do with stopping growing. that would mean that most girls stop growing at 13-14, which isnt true. You will keep growing until you are about 17.

I got my period at 13 and I was probably 5'1, I am now 5'5 and still growing so yeah, don't worry about it. I just freaking hate getting my period, I dread it every month....lol

Totally. I was only 150cm tall when I started my periods at around 11, now I'm 168cm and 26.
