I just got my ipod and dont know how to download music for my Ipod! so how so you and does it cost money?

It depends. If you have the cd, you can "rip" the cd and transfer the songs onto your ipod. If you have Itunes installed (the program/cd comes with every iPod), just insert the cd into your computer. In the Itunes program you should be able to import the cd into your library. If you want to buy/download songs from an online store, then you'll have to pay.

You can import all of your CDs onto iTunes for free and put them on your iPod. Songs from iTunes usually cost a dollar.

through I-Tunes YES!!! .99 cents a song...some people use other download sites such as limewire..which don't cost anything.

you can rip your CD's, or download Limewire for free from Download.com and get songs from there.
