Have you ever thought of studying abroad?

I'm a danish girl, and I've decided to become an exchange student, leaving in August this year. Has anyone else ever thought of becoming an exchange student? Or do you know any other exchange students? ;)

I have been an exchange student in both Europe and the United States. I'm currently working on my doctorate.
You will benefit greatly from the experience. I certainly have. I have had a lot of fun in my travels, and have also met great people. You just have to be open minded and you should be fine. Good luck to you.

Yes, I did thought of studying abroad. And I did -- I was an exchange student from Singapore, studying in a university in Paris. At that time, I majored in Corporate Finance & Law. I've been living in Paris for nearly a year.

Before I left for Paris, I was unsure if my decision was right because I'll be away from my family for a very long time and I don't even know anyone there. I was thinking of backing out. But I didn't in the end.

I'm glad I did it...I made new friends (both internationals & locals), experienced their culture and language and of course food. Basically, I never had so much fun studying abroad.

Of course, there are difficulties....but we overcome them together. We depended one another for help in school work or daily neccesities.

Now, I'm back in Singapore...but soon I'll be flying to Australia to further my studies. This time, I'll be a freshman in a University! ;-)

I'm an American student and I was an exchange student to S. Korea it was an amazing experience and one I'll never forget! totally changed my outlook on everything and is a wonderful feeling to have said I studied abroad. I think once you do it, you want to keep doing it!! you'll have a great time. have fun!!! =)

I was an exchange student to Japan. It was very enriching and I learned a lot.
