no no no, dont listen to that other guy about taking off the front bumper and removing the headlight just to take the bulb out, that is completely unnecessary and chances are you arent going to be able to re-install your front bumper correctly lining it up right since the fenderlining has a real slim spot for you to screw that screw into...its a tight jam, but ive changed rsx light bulbs plenty of times, at least over 15-20 times....

just pop your hood, locate the low-beam or high-beam, whichever your changing, pull the harness plug out, there should be a black circular rubber coating around the lightbulb entry, pull that off from one of the two tabs that stick out, then you need to stick your finger in that hole and theres a metal clamp that holds the bulb in place, push down and move to the side and it should loosen itself, then grab a hold of the plug that looks just like a plug that you plug into your power outlet at home and twist a little and pull it out..then you can grab the silver piece right under the actual bulb and pull the bulb off the plug and replace with another one ensuring you are using gloves or at least not touching the actual bulb which will cause it to burn out fast. take reverse steps to reinstall, note you may need to take the tub for the power steering fluid(passenger side headlight) off of the bracket until change of bulb is complete, you can do this simply by pulling it up off the slider bracket

bro i just changed mine out last month and no you dont have to take the bumper out and your hands arent gonna get all cut up. just open the hood and take a look at the back side of the headlights...you'll see the wires going into certain places on the back of the headlight...turn the lights on so you can now see which wire is going to which light...you'll see some going to the parking lights and blinkers. One will be going to the lows and one to the highs. Its a tight space so you'll need to show patience but grab the one for the low beam and turn it, it will turn about a quarter of a turn and then you will be able to pull the light out and disconnect it from the wire and change the bulb out. then put the bulb back and turn it a quarter again the opposite way to lock it back in place. if you have large hands you might have to remove the battery on the drivers side to get to the back of the headlight to remove the bulbs, but just remove the bracket that holds the battery and disconnect the negative and positive and take it out, no biggie...

Good Luck!

its not in there.

Its pretty much a pain in the ***. First off you have to remove the front bumper. that about 8-10 pins and 4 screws in the fender lining area. after that it come right off. then you need a 8mm socket and about 12" of extension to get the bolt for each head light off. you have to completely remove the head light to get the bulb out. there 4-5 screws holding it on. after that jsut reverse the process.

Now a recommendation... Use OEM bulbs unless you are getting HIDs. reason being is the wattage for most bulbs are not a match for the RSX, i had some silverstars and each went within 3-4 months. After that i put my oem bulbs back in and they are still working and this is after about 1.5 years of use, removal the replacing them back in, and another half year.

It's a pain in the butt. I took my 2002 RSX to my local mechanic and he told me he had a heck of a time. He told me he had to take out the battery and cut his hands all up.
