I am pretty sure I remember what it feels like when a baby moves. When I lie down, sometimes on my side, I feel like little taps on the inside. And last night, I felt a bump hit my hip. The doctors say I am 8 weeks, but only have done a pregnancy test, no u/s or feel of my belly or anything. I really think that I feel the baby move, but if I am only 8 weeks, is it acutally possible to feel him/her? This is my third baby and I just wanted to know what anyone else thought. I will ask my doctor when I go back, I actually think I will ask them to move it up cause I think I am farther along then they are saying. Could it be baby kick or my mind wanting it to be? Thanks and please dont be mean or rude.

i have always been told that you are more sensitive to feeling the baby move when its not your first pregnancy. because you know what to look out for.

It might be.i have always been told that you are more sensitive to feeling the baby move when its not your first pregnancy. because you know what to look out for. My doctor told me the more pregnancies the quicker you feel things. Most people feel their baby move around 16-20 weeks. At 8 weeks, it is probably just gas. Or your imagination but you might just be further along than you think though too. good luck. take it easy.. Congrats

I'm pretty sure that it's too soon to feel the baby move. In fact, I don't think it actually starts kicking and whatnot until 12 weeks. Even though, it's only about 3 inches long - far too small to feel anything yet. But....anything's possible!

Is there a chance you may be having twins? In multiple pregnancies people usually feel the movement earlier...

the more kids you have the easier it is to feel the baby. if it is the baby u should feel it from here on out. or it could be gas!
