Finding out if you are a "fall", "summer", or "winter" is the best way to start...What eye shadows look good on you? There is a hint there. Use inexpensive scarves held up to your face to determine your best colors. I am blonde, blue-eyed and fair in the winter and tan very easily...my skin has a "greenish" cast (look at the inside of your wrist)....I look best in true colors (jewel tones) but can wear pastels in the summer with a tan. Also, the area you live in can give clues...for example, I live on the east coast in a coastal city...dark, heavy fabrics and colors don't fit in here...hope these help!

Try to get a nice rich brown 3 peice suit with a cropped jacket, pants and a nice skirt. These peices can be used together or seperately. Also, buy 3 or 4 embellished camis. Blue camis will make your eyes pop. These can be paired with any of these peices. Dont be afraid to spend a little more money on this suit then you would normally because it is a quality item that you will find yourself using alot.

Definitely navy blue suits. Then have a salesman put together some combinations of shirts and ties for you and choose from among them. They are used to doing that and come up with combinations that would not occur to you on your own.

it depends on the job you're applying for, offices typically want to see you in a suit. if you do a dark grey suit and a blue shirt or a white shirt , you'd look fine, make sure you wear dress socks and shoes. Other than offices, a dress shirt and pants should be fine, nice shoes!

I like Blue... Maybe you could get a blue dress shirt and then get a sport jacket and/or dress pants in a dark blue, Black,or even gray and it would look really nice if it had those lines in it.

Sounds like dark and light gray suits, and black suits would work really well for you. For underneath the suits, try pinks, purples or any "jewel tones" to make your eyes and skin really pop!

I'm like that too - I usually wear rather dark clothes, black, dark red, and dark green .... violet looks good too ....
but I'd say a black suit and something bright underneath, warm colors (pastel shades)
