I am _extremely_ tired of seeing 'I'm trying to have a baby right now and you're a horrible person because I can't have a baby, you can, and are trying to get rid of it!' non-answers from the frustrated.
I sympathise with fertility problems, miscarriages, etc, but not to the point where I think it's okay to give other people a hard time.
You don't really think a pregnant teen-ager, heaven knows where in the world, is going to look at your answer calling her names and think 'Yes -- this remarkably rude person would make a great mother for my embryo. Adoption it is,' do you? (And it's not trivial -- I would find giving a baby up for adoption much more heartbreaking than a miscarriage.)
What on earth is the point? You're embarrassing the polite TTC, miscarriers, etc.

I stand up and give you applause. I have seen the result of abortion, miscarriage and adoption. The first two are hard but the third is the hardest because you know that your child is out there, some where and you can't see it. It is the woman's choice, we don't see pro-choice advocates being so rude now do we? Again-I tip my hat to you. Happy 2007.

What approximately those women that get pregnant & locate out that there is something incorrect with their toddler then, a undertaking the place could the being pregnant progression & the youngster be born, that youngster's high quality of existence could be impaired to such an quantity that the youngster could on no account have the skill to work out/hear the international around them, nor have the skill to talk with others, no longer have the skill to stroll, feed themselves, bathroom themselves etc, in short, trapped for something of their lives in a dismal, silent international. you're able to argue that an existence is best to none in any respect ? you're able to argue that the variety of baby would desire to be placed for adoption if the mum and dad have been no longer able to shield the variety of baby, yet surely, no you could actually choose a baby with the variety of degree of disabilities. that youngster could bypass throughout the youngster Care equipment, on no account having a family individuals. An existence like that, for that's what it may be, is a merciless existence, ensuing probably an early demise, so would not an abortion in this foetus's case have been plenty extra humane ? choose women as you want to, merely confirm you understand the finished circumstances at the back of the female's movements, earlier hand & do no longer generalise each and every female who chooses what she sees as a coronary heart breaking, yet none the less a humane act.

Thank you for expressing this. There are too many people who think they are the perfect judges. I am tired of all the holier-than-thou attitudes of today. I really wish those people would stop and put some thought into the fact that they are not in the position to judge anyone. Everyone has a different situation. People are asking questions here (most of the time), because they need help or want advice. Unless they specifically state in their question that they want opinions--don't assume that they do. People need to put down their proverbial gavels and be objective for a change.

I understand your point. Although I myself am pro-choice, I don't think I could have an abortion after giving birth to my daughter. Probably the only way is if I was raped. However, I know how the people ttc feel. It took me 13 months to conceive my daughter and I am in my 8th month ttc again. I try not to allow myself to get mad at those seeking abortion vs. adoption, but it makes me sad none the less and asking God why. No matter what your opinion on the subject - it doesn't give anyone the right to be rude and harsh to those who don't hold your same opinion.

i think it is just because it is so hard to try for so long to have something you want really bad and never get it. you do everything you are supposed to, try for months or years whatever and nothing. and then you see someone who doesnt even try and bam, they have what you want. yes its wrong to get all upset and freak out but i can see their points definatly. i didnt think i could get pregnant for a long time and when my friend turned up pregnant by her boyfriend of a year and a half she immediatly got an abortion. it was really hard because i had been trying and it was hard to see someone just get and give up the one thing that i wanted, how easy it was. it does hurt because i think other people dont realize how frustrating it can be. of course pregnant teenagers are a little different, they should be more careful but teenagers are teenagers, its going to happen. but when it is someone who is in a relationship/married etc and just doesnt want a child but does nothing to prevent it it can be very hard to handle hearing. that being said i dont condone the anger but i totally and competely understand because i too was like that.

I agree. I think a lot of times people in the "TTC" group are very frustrated and taking it out on the wrong people. Those people are probably angry, and that is a very sad situation when you want a baby and can't have one. That doesn't mean people who don't want one should be forced to!

I just don't think some people know how hard it is to have to make that decision, whether to keep an unwanted pregnancy or not. They have their own ideals and opinions and think that they're right, no matter what else anyone else thinks or what anyone else is going through.
