My wife and I need a new bed. Ours sinks when we get in and we roll right into the middle. My wife constantly complains about back pain. What mattress or whole bed setup would you recommend?

Tempurpedic is great. We finally broke down and purchased one. They will finance it 0% interest for 3 years - or at least they did when we bought ours. If you're strapped for cash, try putting a piece of plywood between the box springs and the mattress and don't forget to rotate the mattress not only upside to downside but rotate it clockwise on a regular basis.

I have had the Sleep Number Bed for 4 years and i dislike it in some ways
the firmer it is the more it has a convex shape to it and i roll one way or the other.
the other thing is the separator between the two Matt's. they put foam in-between and you sink into it when you roll towards the middle.

I would reccomend Sterns & Foster. You can get it at matterss firm. Make sure you buy a new box spring as well. we have had one for 6 years now and love it. You may also look in to the temperpedic mattress. I have heard really good things about them for people with back pain.
