i love the name cole. But Marcus Cole as the first and middle name is nice. I think you should wait it out and see what he looks like and in the first few minutes feel out his personality....

I like the name Cole. I think Marcus, and its shortened version Mark, are overused. The name is too common. Cole has a solid sound to it.

Marcus just sounds like a stronger name. Besides there are more famous Marcus's than there are Cole's

Marcus (who could also be Marc). Cole is becoming rather common these days. I also think they sound nice together-Marcus Cole.

Call him Cole - that's what I'm calling my next baby if it's a boy but I'm spelling it differently to yourself - it's a great name. Marcus sounds old whereas Cole sounds like he could be young forever

In my opinion, Cole, it rolls off the tongue better, and it sounds more pleasant. Marcus is a nice name too, but it sounds "too" strong if you get what I'm saying. Cole sounds soothing, Marcus sounds tough. Cole sounds intent, Marcus sounds mischievous.

I like Marcus better but I would call him Mark for short.
I don't like the name Cole..because it makes me think of a cold or mold every time I say it.
