There is so much technology these days (even in Iraq!) to the point of ANYONE being able to make a video and broadcasting it all over the world, but there's not enough technology to apply the death penalty in a more humane way than hanging like a pig?
Watch in youtube the videos of saddam being hanged and you'll see my point.

I find it scary that you wrote that statement and didn't read over it. Are you the only one in the world who doesn't know that the middle east doesn't use technology. They are still under the "old law" and they believe in hanging or to shoot you in front of your peers. You must stop trying to make them change their ways. This is why they hate america to begin with. Here we are the most corrupt nation and we have the nerve to try to tell someone else how they should live. The better way would be if people stopped murdering other people, then no one would be punished to death. Thank you and good luck.

Starla C has obviously never heard of Hitler/Stalin/pol pot,/Pinochet etc . all existed in the last century. As to the Death penalty those who use it are reduced to the same level as those they execute.

How about testing products and medicines on death row inmates instead of innocent animals. These things don't necessarily effect people and animals the same way. Or send them over seas.

Why would you want to make a more humane way to die for the most inhumane human being in centuries? The sentence was death and it was carried out swiftly and without questions. He died appropriately!

i argree with the death penalty, and the person being executed is there for a reason. If more people were put to death in these "less humane" manners, maybe there would be less crime. i find hanging very humane, it is swift. personally i think he should have been tortured first.

I agree. I think bullets would be much cheaper. All that work for a gallows and all you needed was a hole in the desert and two in the back of the head
