I know that I have a 1.6 something in my piericng at the moment, it was done 7 weeks ago and it is healed very well. I want to buy some quality jewellry for it but the sites are asking me questions like what gauge length and size and i don't understand. I want to make sure that I order the right thing. The bar that I have in now is fine and I am very used to it. Please can someone help!

ok the gauge is the thickness of the jewellery, thi s wil;l be the 1.6mm measurement you were on about. if you are ordering a labret stud i would say order a stud that is 8mm in length, 6mm is also a good size but 10mm i find way too big. hope this has helped but if not, www.bodyjewelleryshop.com have pretty good explanations to help you with ordering, they also have some great jewellery
