I'd say it's about a 7 on the pain scale, but that's only for a quick moment, then it dies down to about a 3. It made my eyes cry, but it didn't make me cry if that makes sense. Go for it, because honestly, stubbing your toe and hurt worse and for longer.

I had the side of my nose pierced (tiny stud), and I would give this a brief pain rating of about 7. The pain was very short, and can best be described as having a giant nose hair plucked. I have a decently high pain tolerance, I would do this again if my career path would allow me to have it again.

I have my nose, tongue and belly button pierced. I used to have my eyebrow pierced and I must say getting my nose done hurt the most. They clamp the nostril and then stick the needle through. And knowing what the pain is now, I probably would not do it again if I had to.

It doesnt hurt very bad. It makes your eyes water for a minute, and its kind of a shock, but it goes away quickly. Good luck!

It was a ten. I felt like my sinus was being scraped with the edge of a rusty tenpenny nail. I was feverish and sneezed little brown metallic flecks for three days.

Not sure thinking about doing mine too - this is a bad time of year if you get sinuses!!! That's why I have waited =)

If you're worried about how much pain you'll have then you probably don't really want it pierced in the first place.
