my 10 yer old brother needs help with his yugioh deck. help?

his strategees are; play spells and traps as soon as posibel same with his tribute monsters, go and attack no matter wat is on the feild, destry the oponets cards as soon as posibel, never ues comboes, rely on normel monsters only nothing els, only have 2 cards for deffens all other cards go and destoy right a way bace youer deck on every thing at ones

he wonders why he can never win so pleas give me tips on how to help him sins he won't lisen to me.

because thats not the way to make a deck, there is no such thing so tellm him to quit it, u cant win with old cards, get new structure deck and build a deck around a monster with the theme u chose

1st sugestion, i think your brother should'n reply on normal monsters because some of them are useless.and keep destroying your foe's cards without thinking would make you lose if they bring out a trap or effect monster cards to destroy or damage your monsters.also when you tribute your monsters to summon strongger ones,first check out ur opponents side for anything face down like spell or traps,also check out the monsters since they might have effects.remember to get something to protect the monster that you are going to summond like some spell or trap destroyer.and lastly,2 cards for defens arent enought,sometimes they set a trap or effect to destroy ur attacking monsters,then if they have more monsters on their field then ur deffens,you might lose..i sugest put spell or traps to help you too...the more effect monsters,the more powerful traps and spells..the higher chance you will win..and you'll need to you your head too..good luck...(these are all my opinions so dont get mad...)
