OMG me too! I do eat seafood though for protein (ask your doctor what's safe for you.) I also eat lots of peanut butter and some eggs.

Just get your protein from different sources. Ask your doctor if he/she has any suggestions. Also, do a little research on vegetarian diets. Vegetarians are known for coming up with creative ways to put protein in their diets. If you are early along, you may find that you are able to eat meat and chicken again later on. I know a lot of my food aversions were strongest in the beginning. Good luck to you.

nothing.. you just need to make sure and substitute other forms of protein. Eggs, nuts, even protein powders are OK. Definately inform your doctor you plan on eating no meat, and ask for their advice on supplementing your diet. They may suggest taking an iron supplement along with your pre-natal to ensure you are getting enough iron... so you dont go anemic. Plenty of vegetarians have beautiful healthy babies and happy wonderful pregnancies

nothing will happen, lots of women are vegetarians when they are pregnant. just make sure you eat other tings that are good for you and that you need to take place of the meat and chicken.

Nothing, just get your protein somewhere else(as would someone who was a Vegetarian), beans are always a good source. I couldn't stand fish (tuna, salmon, lobster) when I was prego. Made me want to hurl! Anyway, a good nutritionist can tell you what to eat to get your protein.

Cheese has lots of protein and needed calcium. Ask your OB to set you up with a nutritionist, insurance should pay.

Nothing will happen. As long as you talk to your doctor to find out what you can do to fortify those nutrients. Like iron pills, prenatal vitamins, things like that. Good luck just ask your doctor.

It probably won't be bad but you should talk to your doctor about it, so they can suggest other things that are safe during pregnancy to replace them.
