I always hear people saying that country music is soo bad and it is soo slow... Why do they say that? What is soo bad about it? I could list a ton of stuff about all kinds of music... But why country???

There are a bunch of great songs in country music.
Personally, I don't like those tear-jerking, slow, melancholic, nonsense songs.
But other than that, there are many great singers and songwriters in country music. It's really a pity that American kids don't appreciate their own great heritage.

I personally have something against country music because I grew up in a city where everyone was obsessed with it and I got sick of hearing it. I don't care for it because it's too safe and boring, and it doesn't give me chills the way other types of music do.
And do I even need to mention how obnoxious some of the new country songs are? (Honkytonk Badonkadonk, etc.)

Ive been a rock and roller most of my life oldies,classic,and hairbands,and i changed over to country and love it, but i still listen to rock,but i find my self buying and downloading more country

1, it tends to be slow, and therefore a little boring.
2, it tends to be about dopey, cheesy kinds of things.
3, it's associated with hicks.
Those are the only reasons I can think up at the moment.

what's so bad about any type of music? people have diffenent tastes in music. therefore they're different types to suit everyone's preferences

its not my kind of music but my dad listens to it and depending on the song if its toby keith or carry underwood its okay to listen to I wouldnt buy the CD though

They mostly talk about sitting on a front porch, drinking beer, and most of the songs are supposed to be sad, I find all of the songs stupid.
